In affiliation with International Institute of Fashion MOD’ART™ (Paris) we developed a joint course on costume design which is to last for three terms. The program is based on novel techniques which encourage development of creative thinking, the sense of style and individual manner in the art of clothes design. You will learn how to realize your creative ideas in the most incredible ways!
The course is taught by best Russian and French artists, art critics and dress designers. Russian teachers will instruct you in the history of costume, designer drawing, fundamentals of construction, materialsand technology, while teachers from
Paris will work with such specific topics as pinning manikin, creativity training and the latest trends in world fashion. You will be able to continue communication with French couturiers during summer practical training in
Paris at the end of your second term. In thetailor shop of “Divina Harmonia” you will learn secrets of mastery, and acquirevital skills for creating your future chef-d’oeuvres; it is here that yourfirst individual collection will come to life. As part of your learning you will visit fashion houses of leading St. Petersburg designers, have excursionsto best shops of fabrics and cloths, exhibition shops of French brands. You will be in communication with fashion professionals throughout the entire course! At the completion of the course students receive diploma of further education from both “Divina Harmonia” and MOD'ART. Our graduates who desire to continue studying in
Paris will be enrolled immediately to the second or third year of the Institute MOD’ART (depending on results of their final assessment).
