In 1993
Marina graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Art, at which she has been teaching the History of Soviet Costume and Everyday Life (since 1994) and the History of Fashion Journalism and Photography (since 2005).
Since 2001
Marina has been working for best glossy magazines (Dog, Interior+ Design, Coast, Free-time, In Nevsky, Taleon, Interbusiness, Branded, Business Woman, Merchant, ELLE, Dress-Code) as journalist and stylist.
As pr-specialist and copywriter she has worked for fashion brands and designers of
St. Petersburg Including Ianis Chamalidy, Leonid Alexeev, Angel, Body Boy, Princess & Frogs, Laurel. Between 2005 and 2007 she was the chief editor of fashion portal Fashionable SPB, between 2007and 2009 worked as artistic director of the Gallery of Russian Fashion.
In 2008
Marina was one of the initiators and organizers of Japan Fashion Week in
St. Petersburg.
She is also an author of numerous research and popular materials.
