At our school she teachers History of Ornament and Basics of Materials Technology as well as reads lectures on History of Costume.

Marina  is one of the best teachers of the city in the field of History of Applied Art.

She graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Art in 1994 and proceeded by studying in Artistic Industrial Academy at the department of the History of Art and Culturology.

Since 2001 Marina  has been the leading specialist of the Sector for New Arrivals of the State Hermitage museum.

In 2007 she defended the thesis “The impact of avant-garde art on ornament patterns of textile (on the example of Russia and Western Europe 1910-1930)” and in 2008 went for practical training to Paris Fashion Museum (Musée Galliera) with the grant from the State Hermitage

Museum.

Since 2007 Marina has been official reviewer of qualification works at the department of Artistic Textile of Shtiglits St. Petersburg National Artistic and Industrial Academy.

In 2009 she joined the Union of Artists of Russia.

She is also a gifted author of numerous articles and publications in the field of applied art.
